Hello All
I am thinking about going to the event down at Lake Havasu in November
I will be camping out of my car for a short time
Are there any places one can shower and use the bathroom?
Thanks

There are two truck stops 20 miles away at the junction of AZ95 and I-40. ;)

As for toilets, there are bathrooms in stores, restaurants, parks, etc.

Don't know, but two things:

1.  There is a thread I started a few weeks ago in here somewhere called "Lake Havasu City".  Might be some useful info in it.

2.  If I'm fortunate enough to make it to the event, I plan to take a bath in the river pretty regularly.  Did so and swam a bunch in the Colorado much closer to Hoover Dam while camping years ago, where the water must be much colder.  Looking forward to nice water, without the near freezing temps (felt like it anyway).

BLM?

Chances are the event will be at one of the free BLM dispersed camping areas -- either a patch of desert or up a canyon. Total boondocking situations. Campgrounds aren't the place for a bunch of people sawing, drilling, hammering and such.

Bureau of Land Management.  AKA Federal Government Land.  Usually range land or desert with no improvements or facilities whatsoever.

The National Park Service runs the National Parks.

The National Forest Service runs the National Forests and National Grasslands.

The BLM pretty much runs everything else.

Lake Havasu does have several RV parks and one or two state parks with campgrounds if you wish to commute to the event.
