Welcome to the CRVL forums!
TY rvwandering.  Nice to meet a 2nd moderator. Mike has been a huge help tp me.

While I have you on the line, is there a "MUSIC" thread? I'm hoping there's a way to find out what campgrounds or meets offer KARAOKE.
Thanks

We have many musicians and someone had karaoke set up at the last RTR - way too loud though - :-D but I don't know of any campgrounds or meetups that have karaoke. Perhaps you can organize one? Hopefully someone will chime in with suggestions.

I did a search and found a number of KOA have karaoke.  I posted the link somewhere.  Hope I'll find more.  I'm at a big disadvantage being here in the east right now.

Wish this could show up in my Methuselah Rebuild thread.  Keeping up with other thread is tedius.

Slightly off topic but FedEx this past Xmas had battery operated mics you use with or without bluetooth. I cannot sing a lick but bought 2 anyway. I figured if I ever need a loudspeaker (get out of here you nasty bear) or (hey camper in the cammo class A - I'll have one of those ....)

Or if Wayne goes for a hike I can holler if I need him to come running.

Out in the Quartzite desert...…….one of the "residents" of the LTVA has a scheduled Karaoke / Pot Luck nite every week……………….

Renegade camp visited the event several times...……...what a hoot !

It takes a bit of equipment to do a decent job at producing the acts...……………

At Colorado's Traveler's Camp Fest this year they had several nights of Karaoke also...………"On The Road Again"

the Karaoke did not go over big at the RTR. respect your neighbors is my advice. highdesertranger

In my perfect world, Karaoke would only be allowed in sound proof rooms. And all performers would be required to listen back to themselves so they'd know how they actually sound. :D

Great idea Noodly,  However, if the "singer" is tone deaf, would his caterwauling bother him?

BTW, I'm a great Karaoke singer.  Yes, the audience says so. :p

I think the problem is campers who think others should hear their music who are parked outside their campsite.

Many years ago Wayne and I rolled into what once was my favorite campsite and I had not been to it in a very long time. They now had RV pads and loudspeakers right down by the river. I never came back and spent that visit way on the other side where the RVs couldn't drive to.

Hi,  Seems a campground manager should set limits to sound invasion.  Did you mention the annoyance at that noisy camp?

About Karaoke, usually it is carried on for just a few hours, perhaps once a week.  At least here in the "real" world of Karaoke venues.  Decibels could be limited by the site managers.  I wonder how the several KOA Karaoke sites manage.

Hi,  I used a pair of wireless mics with recharging stand when I provided Karaoke at Ramada.  Still have all the equipment except the huge speakers.

Hey,I love me some karaoke. The worse everybody sings, the better. It's not like folks are auditioning for a contract with a record company, the purpose is to have a good time and enjoy life.Unfortunately, some folks not only can't have a good time, but also object to others who do.Put a log on the fire, open a keg and let's get it rolling.

Check my thread in a few months, to see if I've gotten on the road.  If so, 1st thing I'll be looking for is a clean karaoke venue.
