<FONT size=3 face="Tahoma, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Does anyone make their own juice out on the road?<BR><BR>I love my fresh juice, and each time I make it I wonder how I am going tol have my fresh joice when I am living on the road.<BR><BR>The power&nbsp;to make juice may not be a huge problem, although it is a concern.&nbsp; I guess I could make juice every other day, maybe even less often if I made enough to freeze.<BR><BR>My biggest concern would be the water to clean the&nbsp;juicer afterwards.<BR><BR>I'm looking at other juicers now.&nbsp; I think i already have the simplest and easiest to clean.&nbsp; But&nbsp;even that model&nbsp;takes a huuuuuge amount of water of water to clean.<BR><BR></FONT><BR><BR><BR>
 
Make your juice right before you stop to take your shower and take the parts that need washing in with you, along with any dishes that need to be washed.&nbsp; Truck stops and gyms can help pay for themselves this way,just get a nice big backpack to carry things in so you avoid odd looks or trouble.&nbsp; Also, make enough to store for later and store it in a bottle with a screw on cap so that it doesn't risk sloshing around.<br>
 
Thanks, Drifter.&nbsp; That's a good suggestion.<br><br>Fresh juice begins to lose it's potency after 24 hours.&nbsp; I already make more than I use and store some.&nbsp; I'm not sure if the purpose for juicing would be lost if i stored more, unless I froze it.&nbsp; I know tomatoe juice doesn't freeze well.&nbsp; I am going to try freezing, but freezer space could be an issue,at least&nbsp;for awhile.&nbsp; I plan on replacing any fridge with a freezer but that probably wouldn't happen right away.<br><br>
 
I use to have the Montel Williams power juicer thing, you didn't have to core apples, chop things into tiny peices, you could add water, milk or soy milk, pretty much anything and it turned it into juice depending how much liquid you put in.&nbsp; <br>&nbsp; It is basically a very powerful blender.&nbsp; You could also make soup in it and it would heat it up at the same time.&nbsp; There were tons of different recipes I didn't even make half of them.<br>&nbsp; The problem is that it is quite pricey, but I ended up selling mine of craigslist so check that out if interested.&nbsp; I'm not sure of how much power it needs but be prepared it isn't the quietest peice of equipment but it is an awesome appliance to have!<br>&nbsp;Oh and it's super easy to clean, just rinse it out and you're done<br>
 
Thanks, Kaitlynn!<br>I actually looked at the MW Juicer, I really liked it.&nbsp; It didn't get very good customer reviews, though, over all.&nbsp; So I passed. I don't have to do a lot of chopping with mine.&nbsp; Just make sure things will fit in the 2" diameter feeder, so some apples have to be halved, no coring or peeling of anything.<br><br>
 
I am thinking about ordering the magic bullet.&nbsp; It comes with a juicer, a blender, cups, and various accessories for quick easy meals for $100.<br>
 
I'm looking for a juicer that produces the most nutritious juice. The most important thing is that it is made of stainless steel and is relatively easy to clean. I have read many reviews and some people think the quality of Breville is very good.

I guess the practical solution is to have more water storage on board. Remember that it might be possible to figure out a more water efficient method of cleaning it. The makers would likely not have that as a priority in the how to clean it instructions. But it does not means you can't figure out your own method that works. It might involve using a strong hand pumped pressure sprayer, that would likely take less water to get the surfaces cleaned off.
