Hi everyone. I've been lurking and reading for a while now (and watching a bazillion videos, of course), but I've just started thinking seriously about making the change.

I'm in my late 40s, and figured that I was trapped, because I wouldn't have an income, and my body tells me every day that while I can maintain a certain level of fitness, hard labor or jobs that keep my on my feet for hours are not in my future.

BUT! I finally figured out that I'm more than capable of finding something to do online, and I've started taking steps to make that happen. I still don't know what I'll do for a vehicle yet, since I have no credit and my savings have been wiped out, but at least I'm making some forward motion. If nothing else, I have an SUV. That'd be a treat, with two dogs, but it's an option. It's always good to have an option.  :)

So that's me, in a nutshell. I look forward to picking your brains in the future!

Welcome! The best way to change something, is to begin.

Hiya Stretch and welcome. Best of luck to you and yer pups! Can't wait till I can get a dog of my own, they make great company.

Welcome aboard the posting side!
In our lurking/reading have you seen the members that live in a prius?

Yes, I have, rvpopeye! That started me down the rabbit hole of car and SUV dwellers, and I have no doubt I could do it and be just fine, if not for the dogs. Bob's video of Roxy, living in her Montero, made me realize just how possible it was. I'm glad to have the option, but my ultimate goal will remain a van.
