IT Job in City near BLM Land

What are some of the best Large, medium-size cities that are fairly close(within 20 miles, roughly) to BLM land with Job opportunities in Information Technology, even simple IT contracts that may last only a few days/weeks/months?

So far I've only glanced at Colorado City in Arizona briefly, any opinions on that?

Snyder Hill BLM pretty much borders the city of Tucson Arizona. Grand Junction Colorado has some BLM land out by the airport that borders it as well.

Nearly all the cities between the Front Range and the Sierras/Cascades have BLM or National Forests within 20 miles —or less.

Some of that red area is reservations, military and restricted, but you getthe idea.

Just an FYI, since it's implied by the question... "Residencing" on BLM land, living there and leaving for a physical job, is against the law.

Yep good point. Never tell a ranger that you are living on BLM or Forest Service land. Highdesertranger

I never tell anyone I'm "living" anywhere or in anything. I tell them I'm traveling full-time or I'm camping. I never "live".
