I am new to this forum and the exciting idea of stealth RVing seems right up my alley. It's winter here in the Pacific Northwest and that means a lot of moisture on the insides of the windows. I am interested in privacy and moisture control for my SUV camper. After studying this site I decided Reflectix was a good idea for all of the side windows and a folding Reflectix-type sunshade on the front windshield.
While purchasing my sunshade the checker asked me, "Do you really think you're gonna get a chance to use this?"
I live in a friendly small town so I smiled and said, "Well...".
Then she goes, "Lets hope so right?"
That got me thinking. As you know, that type of moisture is only really a problem in the Fall and Winter. Am I just raising more curiosity by using Reflectix and a sunshade in the Fall and Winter? I will work on a vapor barrier behind the cab, as also suggested on this site but I like my two heavy dogs to sleep up front. I just wanted to ask people with actual experience if I am thinking along the right lines. Do people get suspicious when they see your Reflectix? Is there an even better solution that I don't know about yet?
Thank you
