Is anyone in SoAZ interested in buying some solar panels? I want to buy some, but they will not sell less than four at a time. I want 2.

The panels: JA Solar 24v 285w for $0.68/watt
After tax, that comes out to $212 per panel.

The panels are 1956mm × 991mm × 45mm or 77in x 39in x 1.7in

They are located in Phoenix.

Sorry, don't need any panels. Someone here surely will. You and Johnny may not remember me 4 years past at the rtr. But I think you would remember Kate my dog. Last saw you at the Yacht Club birthday party for?? Last I heard you guys were in Fla. Are you out west? I wish you, Johnny and the pups all the best.

That does seem quite a bit cheaper than the Renology 100w panels that seem so popular around here. What are the pros/cons between these and the Renology ones?

Just in case you don't know who hitekhomeless is, they come with solid references. They've attended most of the RTRs, from the beginning. So they are good and personal friends of many people on the forum.Myself included.

Also, they're the hardworking folks that developed freecampsites.net. That's right! They spend their days looking for and testing out free campsites so we don't have to.

Please ignore this question, I read over this thread, which explained the differences. I measured and this seems like it might be a good fit for my minivan.  I was going to buy the 200w renology bundle + an extra 100w panel, but I'd almost rather fork out more for the mppt controller right away and leave room for later upgrades in a bigger vehicle. However, I won't be anywhere near that area until the last week of March.  I'm tied to portland until then while I clean out the sticks and bricks with my (now ex) wife

If you don't get any other bites and can wait/store one for that long I'd be happy to take it off your hands.  You'd still need someone else for the extra panel though, cause I sure as hell can't fit two of these on my roof.

In this day and age, A panel is a panel.  The difference is in the output.    If the numbers work~~~  :D

Hi. I remember you and Kate. Well, after my other half reminded me. I got to carry the memory trinket for the first 10 years we were together. It seems that I can't remember where I put it anymore. Thankfully, he picked it up.:)

Didn't we see you at the overland expo?

We've been back out west for a year or so. We had a great time on the east coast. I love it there. If we hadn't gone to Baja last winter, we would probably still be out east.

Were you able to make it to this year's RTR? We were there.

NickTheoBennett - We don't have a way to store any. I'll let you know if we are still in the market when you're in the area.

Cyndi - Thanks for reference. I'm pretty certain that almost no one here knows me and that could scare folks off.

If you are not there to pick them up in person, don't forget to add shipping charges. As Bob pointed out elsewhere, 100 watt panels often come with free shipping. If you do not have a business account with a shipper, boy do they take your money.
I live in Pahrump Nv, (about 60 miles West of Las Vegas). Many things here are price gouged because the seller knows it will cost at least $40 in gas and a minimum of 3 hours to go to Las Vegas yourself to pick it up.
So factor in gas and time as well. Free shipping is a big plus where I live.
