For this van:

Dodge Ram Roadtrek Caravan - 1988. 3/4 ton 19 foot rv camper van. 52,000 odometer. new tires with less than 5000 miles on them. Very clean condition and well taken care of. Double bed in back and drivers seats in front convert into single beds. Double bed in back makes into dinette table with a couple of benches. Another small round table in the front with a couple of seats. Has a flushing toilet with closet. Kitchen has fridge, sink, gas stove and ceiling fan.

No rust, and I've had the van inspected by a mechanic who says it's in good shape.

The van sounds decent, but high for an 88. Do you have any links to it so we might take a better stab at it's worth?

Roadtrek's are a highly sought after rig.
That sounds like a good find.
The price is near the top but around what most of the RT's go for unless a basket case or a scam...

It actually looks pretty good. I note no phone number. I would at least like the chance to talk to them.
Class III hitch on it is one point I would discuss with them. What did they tow? Get their number.
You need to drive it to get a feel for it.
I still think it's priced high. If after inspection and drive you still like it, I might offer $6500. for it and see where that goes.
Bear in mind that even at $6500, I would expect everything to work.
Just my .02 cents.

I know they are really hard to find, but it is way overpriced! But, it's supply and demand and if you have a high demand, it may be the only supply.

Yes, overpriced by a lot. It's been for sale for a month, so that says something. Be aware that the odometers on many late '80's and early 90's Dodges are defective due to stripped speedo gears and may not show accurate miles.

yeah or they only have 5 digits so it's really 152,000. something like that I'd start offers at $5k maybe go up to $7k.

There's a local 'extra van' 72k mi (looks just like the road trek) for $6k. The overstated price is in the road trek name.

supply and demand folks, thats the top end price if everything is perfect
heres a camper that was just posted today

I saw that. The older Mopars usually benefited from frequent radiator flushes. The trans could go either way. I would have to drive it for a better opinion.
Still, it looks like the pick of the litter so far.

125K is right in the ballpark for a failed Xmission after a first time flush. He does say he's put 7k on it though and I wonder if the flush was done before that. If so, it would probably be OK. If it wasn't so far I'd go take a look. VT,NH,ME & MA are the only states I haven't been to.

there are different types of flushes,a power flush under pressure and a basic take 14 quarts out while putting in fresh fluid
the issue with flushes is when you have a dirty trans and do a power flush cramming any debris in a port or whatever in the valve body
