Greetings!

So, I am retiring in 2 yrs and selling home, buying a van and off I go to travel where ever my heart desires!  I have watched Bobs vids as well as  many others and I cannot wait to be freeeeeeeeee! Looking forward to learning everything I could ever want/need to know about being nomadic!

Happy trails and blessings from PDX (for now)  :)

Welcome to the CRVL forums Gracie! Two years will give you plenty of time to sell or give away all of the things you've accumulated over the years and to find the right van. Even though it's exciting and a big temptation to buy things that you think you might need, hold off on most of it until you actually do some trial runs. All of us have bought something that we later gave away because it didn't work for us.

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips, Tricks and Rules" post lists some helpful information to get you started.

Most of our rules boil down to two simple over-riding principles: 1) What you post should provide good information (like your introductory post), and 2) Any response to someone else's post should make them feel glad they are part of this forum community.

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome - I hope you find everything you need to prepare for "nomading" Start out part timing and you will have a much better idea of what you need and want. With so much stuff on the web about this subject it takes practice to find out what applies to your situation. Any questions? this is the place to ask but its the same thing here we all have our opinions; you will have to make the decisions based on your own needs and circumstances. Welcome.
