US firm’s 5-minute EV battery charge tackles range anxiety in all weather​ ​

AUS startup has developed a cost-effective technology to charge lithium batteries in just 5 minutes fully. To meet electric vehicle (EV) market demands, Dallas-based Solidion has developed a patented system enabling fast charging in all climates.​

The system uses a graphene-based heat spreader. It quickly warms batteries before or during charging, while an integrated cooling system activates during discharge to prevent overheating.​

According to the firm, the technology enables rapid EV charging in any weather, especially overcoming current battery limitations in cold climates. Solidion plans to commercialize it within 2-3 years.​

We all need to keep in mind that AI (artificial intelligence) and fake news exists, and it is RAMPANT on youtube. Youtube is wonderful entertainment, but as a source for 100% truth and peer reviewed topics, "fuhgetabout it".

AI and CGI (computer generated images) can create and narrate very convincing but fake videos about anything you want them to. It's all about clickbait and getting lots and lots of views, which drives ad revenue.

I could make a fake AI video about rocket-powered wooden wagons that can take passengers to Mars for $150. But until you see chunks of scorched wood falling from the heavens....don't buy a ticket just yet.
