next month I'll be picking up my small 6x8x6 trailer from Weeroll in FL and would like to get feedback for insuring such from this vast pool of knowledge in the community.

I would like to know how are the contents insured? certain types of policy?
I know, I could ask my insurance carrier, but last time I asked while boat shopping I was flooded with emails, text notifications and phone calls from my carrier trying to sell me the      ''proper policy for my needs'' so I would like to be properly schooled by those that have learned.
thanks in advance

a trailer should be covered under your auto policy. as for your personal items get renters insurance. highdesertranger

Insurance isn't covered well enough for those of us contemplating this. I'm beyond contemplating. I've promised to buy a camper on Monday. I don't have a car. Condo contents insurance will end when it's sold. I won't have a 'garage' address that I now understand is crucial. No 'permanent' address beyond a po box and mail forwarding. How do people get insurance. I need to solve this by Monday Sept 9!

Call the Escapee's insurance advisor or any of their parks. They may be able to help. With membership and their mail service which is listed as a residence not a P.O. Box I believe you may have a way to insure, but check.

where are you, state? yes you need to establish residency. use your existing address(condo) for now for your insurance. highdesertranger
