Interesting show and tell of how someone found an old truck that looks like it might actually be a bargain (think it was $400), and turns out the engine is a piece of junk.  But the process to inspect it is good.  Unfortunately they inspected it after the truck was bought.

Bad compression is just bad all the way around.  This would need a new engine.  Be careful when shopping for old trucks.
