After looking long and hard changed from Geico to Liberty because their rates were cheaper but now after 1 year they went up from $37 a month to 54..still driving the same amount.
Who has cheap ins and who are you using? links are great!
TIA

yea, thanks know that was hoping for specific companies that our community has had low low rates with

Different states, areas even with the same companies all have different rates for different categories of drivers. Results may vary! Lol!!!

Typical bait and switch scenario game that some, but not all, insurance companies will pull to bring in new customers. But I noticed insurance rates pretty much all went up in 2023.

Find out if your insurance company will give you a discount on your rate for taking a defensive driving course. AARP has one you can take online. It is not a free course but not all that expensive either. No doubt there are other places offering insurance discount approved defensive driving courses you can take online. Good discount deal for senior drivers!

Are you telling the Ins Co you are full time? ( wait, are you full time?)
Do you have a home or other vehicle?

I bought a 20 yr old Class A, joined FMCA and got a full-timers policy through them with Progressive. It was expensive.

I have full coverage from State Farm on my conversion van which runs me about $40/month. Bullfrog is correct though, rates depend a lot on what state you are in and even what county/area of that state that you are in. My residence happens to be in a fairly small town/city in Kentucky. Shop around is the best thing to do I believe.

Where in KY? I'm from Glasgow.

EVERYTHING has gone up! Personally, I don't think a rise of $17 is all that bad. Compare it to your food bill.

I THINK i FIGURED IT OUT...ins COMPANIES GIVE OUT A GREAT RATE THE FIRST YEAR, then they raise it...that's WHY I left progressive in the first place then Geico and now back to Progressive...cheaper still after being gone for a while!.
Someone mentioned 17 $ IS NOT THAT MUCH..I NEVER LOOK AT THE DOLLAR AMOUNT BUT RATHER THE % THAT IT WENT UP!!

Nation wide, insurance claim average cost (severity) went from $3450 2 years ago to over $5000 per claim today and it ain't going down any time soon. Cheap insurance isn't always cheap if you truly compare coverage and how the repairs are being handled & by who. If you are driving an older vehicle and money is tight, I get it but take a minute to read about replacement part types, deductibles, coverage, etc before jumping ship to another carrier.
Also, it seems like the more things you insure and for a longer time frame, your payments seem to be lower or at least, don't jump up as much.
My old Express Van conversion which was used part time was extremely cheap to insure through SF. Good luck to you all
