2nd that, that's a reality show I would actually watch. ;)

If someone can record that show and post it to YouTube, that would be great!

Dish network chan 215. Comcast channel 107 or 125. Fios channel 114

I just hope this story does not get twisted and bring on the “heat”.

Maybe the gun care seminar at RTR 2015 should be canceled?

Plus no red stars on Raspberry Berets and trim those beards!

I don't get AJAM. And, I can't find a live stream online. Does anyone know of other options to watch or hear this program on the 15th?

Someone will capture it and post to YouTube with a link. Until they get a takedown notice. We hope.

As long as Bob wears his cape with the flexible solar panel on it and uses it to power the camera for the reporter...I'll be happy. =D

Bob, please tell 'em we're not all living down by the river! We're not all living on social security either. Neither are we all handicapped/disabled and living on the edge. Some of us are doing this by choice to make our buck stretch farther. Good luck on your interview! :)

Caseyc - wait wait. We are not? You are choosing this life of FREEDOM to live like a gypsy by choice ? Lol.

Thanks, CaseyC! My thoughts exactly.

Below is what Al Jazeera has on their web page with regard to the show.

"There's no place to call home
A cycle of low wages, poor pensions and expensive real estate is leading a growing group of aging Americans to become nomads in their own country. They crisscross from state to state in their RVs, looking for temporary work. These are not outliers. They’re average elderly Americans with no place to call home. Join the conversation Monday, September 15 at 12:30 p.m. ET."

I know a lot more people that are living this way because they choose to, rather than being forced.

I hate to say it, but Aljazeera's news team is more truthful than our main stream media. I'm sure you all will be surprised by the lack of bias in their reporting.

We'll see, won't we?

good Deal Bob, I regularly watch AJAM, and will look forward to this one.

Hard to believe, but it was by choice, albeit a hard choice to make. Due to declining income in recent years from what I was used to earning, I had a choice to either live in near deficit spending with no savings, or give up my comfy apartment to have a much larger disposable income. I chose the latter. I'm now able to save a lot more each paycheck, plus I'm contributing more to my 401k retirement plan. I even bought some Apple stock recently that I couldn't have done otherwise. I was not able to do this previously while paying the landlord every month and having little left over each paycheck. I have no idea how long this lifestyle will last for me, but based on current economic circumstances and cost of high rent, I will be doing this for quite some time to come. By the way, that reminds me. I need to buy a lottery ticket, haha!

Good news Bob!
Hope the interview goes well and am looking forward to seeing it.
And here's wishing you a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY on 9/6/14!

I would like to read the Harper's story but you have to be a subscriber. Anyone have a link to the full story?

Low wages? poor pensions? expensive RE? Doesn't sound political at all to me....naaahhhh. Carry on.
