Idea for maxx/fantastic fan to be integrated with vent window of Caravan.. crazy?

  So I thought... well aren't the back venting windows kind of like a sideways sunroof???  

I saw a video of a guy who build out a van with his dad, and they removed one of the rear tilt out windows and replaced it with plexiglass.  They cut the plexiglass to fit the vent fan.  

I thought it was ingenious.  I have a high top conversion van so hesitate to cut through the roof for a fan and considered this option instead.

I wish I could find the video, but can't seem to locate it.

they have optional variable speed controllers available for them on their site also. might end up costing more than a roof vent fan but I havnt checked into it much.

you could probably find chisense knock-offs on amazon like these too for much less.

MaxxFan has a couple of new products. The link below shows one that has a 6 inch fan, is one speed, but is made to fit into a 14" standard mounting hole. I first saw it in an RV catalog. There is another model with a 10 inch fan. Am having trouble finding them on the Internet, but they are out there.

ooooh.... if my experimentation with one side works... I just might get greedy and install the setup in both back/vent window!  One bringing air in and one sucking it out.  Or would that be overkill?  haha

Hi Catina!  Were you ever able to do this?  I have a Toyota Sienna and have the same issue.  I don't want to cut a hole in the top in case I want to sell it in the future.
