I Video'd Our 7x16 Layout

We purchased a 7x16 Cargo Trailer Flat Nose Ramp Door Dual Axle Interstate Loadrunner Cargo Trailer in April.  I put up a July 18th video I took showing the layout on that date.  Shown is the IKEA kitchen counter/sink, A Lippert Tub with the frame structure Wayne built, the Dometic 3-way 6.7 Cubic Ft fridge/freezer and the frame structure Wayne built, the Duraflame Heater I gutted and converted to a cupboard, the two cots we are using as beds so we can flip up the end and walk in and out of the ramp door without obstruction, the drawings of where the windows will go, the installed propane quick release inside and the floor hookup for the Dometic fridge and the second of 3 floors laid down to get it right.   :heart: :exclamation: :heart:



Refrigerator and Tub from PPL Motorhomes.  Trailer purchased at the Ft. Collins Trailers Plus facility.  Most supplies for the build purchased at Home Depot because it's right down the street.

Hope this gives some of you your own ideas.  Damn I wish it was finished!!

Hi,  You've got a good start.  The gutted Duraflame is good looking, have you thought about putting fake flames against the glass for a Franklin Stove look?  Your leather-like storage containers are quite handsome.  Hopefully you will make spaces for them as decorating items.  Bob did a video of a woman's motor home where she used special containers for storage and decorating.

P.S. Can you get a stabilizer for the camera?

Stabilizer is on the list.  I did make a combo selfie stick/tripod but I don't use it often enough.  Thanks for the comments.  I am going to be showing off the contents in the Duraflame so I want them to show through.  My wine glass is awesome (Pewter & Silver Smog Guarding His Jewels (flecked with gold leaf) by The Foundary circa early 1990's.  Then some metal coffee pots and such to help with the Steam Punk theme.  I know a dragon isn't steam punk but it's coming with.

Ha Ha, yes on the dragon then. Actually, I forgot - I will have a small hanging steam ship that will have a variety of things inside and one of them is the Captain's dragon nicknamed "Back Up Gen" as an emergency power source (stories are developing as the site is decorated - you should see the Time Machine Flux Capacitor).

Many years ago Wayne and I had a graphic arts biz with a wizard name. Thus when work decided to do a Halloween contest (our biz was our part time biz at home job, we both had full time jobs as well) I made us wizard costumes. We wore them once to the Ren. Faire and could not cross the street without having to have our photo taken with tourists who thought we were just the coolest thing to have your picture taken with. I let them hold my staff which was a tree limb from our yard with pewter and jewels on the crown.

Then we went to Universal City Walk soon after that and the same thing, everyone thought we were professional actors in costume and we had so much fun. There was a bar named Wizards there and when we visited a few months later they had hired a wizard to be on stilts outside the entrance. I think it was because they saw what an impact we had that night.

Yea, we like to have fun.

Neat story.  My daughter-in-law had a catering business with a wizard name. and my late husband did a pen-and-ink wizard for her business cards.  She is no longer in that business, so if the sketch would be useful to you, you're welcome to it. (That is if I can find it )

That business was a long time ago.  It was before Vista Print.  We did biz cards, T-shirts, logos, wedding invites, band tickets all kinds of stuff.  When they came out with computer programs that let one create a biz card by clicking on a couple of buttons I said that was time to quit.  It was fun.  I once traded 500 color laminated biz cards with logo for a $350 litho at an art show.  We had a logo something to the effect that if you could think of it we could probably do it so one day Wayne came home and dumped a huge roll of white rolled up something on the livingroom floor.  Turns out the local symphony was getting ready for another season and their street sign, the one that goes between streets and people drive under them needed refurbishing.  He looked at me and said, "Well, you said we could do anything!"  Fortunately my parents had a large property with a long, long area of cement that allowed us to lay the whole thing out and work on it.  IT was the size of a small couch when rolled up.

We've always worked and done work on the side up until some disabilities hit for me about 10 years ago.  Now I just downsize and play at learning videos and re-learning how to do web pages.  But I'm torn between if I want to put the work into that or not so for now I am just playing with it and will decide when we take off if I want to do the blogs, videos, etc.  Mostly I do it now to keep my brain learning afer a stroke several years back.  It helped there a lot - forcing me to tackle thinking and learning.  I do it to be a little social.  I don't think my heart is in doing it for work.  But I'm not 30 anymore, more than twice that now.
