Uh ... sure it is ... at least in this country. In most states and on a federal level you would have to at least 36 to sleep with someone half your.age, ie 18. See, at 35 half would 17 1/2 and that'll get you 20.

As for social norms we're pretty schitzophrenic as a society so ...

These days the age thing ain't that big a deal. My bestest buddy recently divorced his wife of 17 years, she was about five years his junior. Her idea, long brewing, not much in common.
He is now engaged to a nice gal literally half his age, they work at the same company (not together), and have a lot of interests in common. Luckily, he has good genes, looks and acts younger than he is.
My other buddy has buried two wives, each close to his age. Maybe he should go for a younger gal?
