That's what I was told.  Maybe it's wrong. I'll look closer at it.

$600? Is that just for the install? The engine must be extra.
 
The $600 is for the rebuilt engine only. The install would be extra, but my wife's father owes me a favor and will put it in no charge.

Does that include machine shop fee's too? Sounds pretty inexpensive.
 
yep 600 bucks for a rebuild is very cheap. they are cutting a lot of corners. highdesertranger
 
$600 time bomb. Do yourself a favor. Spend the $1,800 on a new crate motor. New means New. New means all parts are in tolerance. New Motors today last so long now. Seriously. Don't shortchange the most important part in your rig.
