I am a newbie to this forum currently living in Minneapolis. I find myself facing moving from my long term apartment (10 years) at the end of June. My heart is telling me that this is my chance! Buy a van and figure out how to make it work. I am so glad I found this forum and I hope to be sharing with you all soon that I am living a CRVL lifestyle! Thank you for this forum!

Below are a couple of websites that may be helpful to you.  One is for a simple cargo Van customization that would put you on the road quickly and inexpensively. (where weather is moderate)  The other is a Portal of
helpful info to help you figure out the transition from sticks'n'bricks living to Cheap RV living.   Just spend some time in them get comfortable with understanding the basics first.

Wow!! Thank you for the warm welcome! I am thinking I want to travel the states, but perhaps start out as an urban vandweller since the weather is improving. Perhaps live and work here until August or Sept, save some cash and take some time to get my rig together and then hit the road when it gets cold. I am really looking forward to learning more!
