I was looking through the site and it seems that there are still some that use horses and/or have gone back to horses. Some of the photo captions state that So-and-So were in this or that RV/Campervan/etc but now they've gone to horse drawn.

I'm really fascinated by the photos, some of which are from the 80s and 90s, showing Travelers at various gatherings/rock shows/etc. One group of pictures are from 'Eviction Day' and I gather that basically they stay in any one spot until the authorities tell them to move along. At that point those who need a bit of gas to get their rigs moved will get a jerry can filled from another member who has more in their tank.

They also show a young Traveler repairing window damage on an RV after the police 'raided' the camp the night before, bashing in windows and doors just to shake things up.

One of the Public Libraries in my area used to have these two books which were like coffee table book size.
One was full of pictures and the other had lots of photos was rich with interesting information regarding traveling and living in such vehicles. Which states were best to register your vehicle in etc.

You may be able to find these in some Library collections yet today.  They have been around some time
since publishing.   The info may be a bit dated now so I'd try to find them to look at before buying either of them.

I haven't been able to find this one to look at yet.
