Wow!

Talk about Headroom ... show us the inside, please.

Welcome to this forum.

Bob
Don't hold back, tell us what you really think! Seriously, way to jump right in . You will have lots of people dragging their tounge on the ground, and green with envy. Nice rig! Les.

I originally bought the van last year. It was converted to 4x4 by Pathfinder and it lived it's life as a passenger van. It has Dana 60's, wih the rear being a full floater. I recently added a Mike's five-star tuner, which greatly changed the transmission shift points (like a shift kit).

I started the interior last week. Im using vinyl self-stick tiles over a 3/4 Birch plywood/hinged floor (used a liquid primer beforehand), which makes it easier to build a section at a time. Here are some pics of beginning stages (Im currently in solar wiring mode). The amp is a 5-channel 1000 Crunch, and the sub is a 12" Pioneer. Yes, I love my tunes...

I will be mounting my Engel MR040F-U1 freezer (uses 2.5 amps max) on a slide-rail system, mounted just behind the drivers seat. A costco oven/grill will be mounted next to the the fridge, then finally a sink set-up. I have all the parts, I just need the constant motivation... Hence, reading sites like this one

absolutely makes me green with envy. what a set-up!

welcome!

Two Knives Katie... Now there's a woman not to be messed with...

Well, today I got the entire floor done, passenger wall built/covered/installed, and built/covered the remaining side panels for the driver's rear.

I also built a "Command Center" (Morningstar MPPT solar controller, Direct TV Satelllite, outlets etc), which is approx. 8" wide by 2' tall. It will be sprayed with Valspar "stone" paint (THICK black, gray and white specks) and sealed with Valspar Stone Sealer (looks awesome and is durable). I'll be using it for a rotating countertop and already purchased 50 feet of white PVC T-molding for edging and cabinets.

On another note, I bought a Delorme PN-60W with spot and have been compiling GPS coordinates (and related pictures) for decent boondocking spots in NorCal (gold claims are easy to find online and are abundant). Have any of you had any issues with camping on gold claims?

NICE!!! Welcome to the forum!

I LOVE MY TUNES! I played the drums for 20 years and when you appreciate all music as I do, you gotta represent... Feel me?

The van already had 6 6x8's. i just replaced them with Alpines, added a sub, and a much needed amp. I have the system tied into a cheap (but loaded) Legacy DVD/USB front stereo. So, for my action movies, I get my much need cinema atmosphere. I hope you dont have an issue with me having satellie TV?

i also have a pick-up bed trailer with a Dana 60 full floater on 35's. Im prepping it to match my van, as we speak. This hold extra gas, water, generator, supplies etc...
