I've been lurking here and on other nomadic sites, getting hitchitch. Realistically, I'm a few years away from hitting the road, but this site along with a few others have set me on fire for life nomadic. It seems like something deep inside has been brought up to the surface and I can't wait to express it. I'm ready to get rid of all the "trappings" of &nbsp;positions and possessions and hit the road with my dog.<div><br><div><div>I'm going to look at this RV this Saturday. &nbsp; It's an 1988 Mallard. It looks like it's been really taken care of. Don't have too many details for the time being, except for the basics. I don't know nuttin' about mechanics, but willing to learn.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div><div>http://sfbay.craigslist.org/scz/rvs/2691780936.html</div><div><br></div></div><div>I'm hoping to have a rig to visit during the RTR in January -- if not, I'll just car camp in the Subaru Forester.&nbsp;</div></div>

I LOVE Subarus! If I didn't have the kids, I would just travel around in my old Legacy Wagon. <img src="/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle"><br>

I like my Subaru, but I'll probably sell it as soon as it's paid off.<div><br></div>

Welcome to the tribe. There's a knowledgeable group of people here. A nice bunch, as well.
