Hello,

I would like to introduce myself, my name is Lynna and my husband Mark and I are set to begin our new adventures in about three weeks. We are minimalists and we are in the process of selling everything for our new Gypsy Nomad life on the road. We have a YouTube channel called GypsyBlue 2017 (https://www.youtube.com/user/markangeloc/) and a blog by the same name (https://gypsyblue2017.blogspot.com/), where we will be chronicling our journey across the American continent. We are so excited to begin our crazy adventures together! We would love to meet people who are taking their own nomadic journeys or thinking about doing so.

Welcome to the CRVL Forums

So both of you live and sleep in the Prius ? I'm sure that cramped quarters.

Are you considering towing a trailer of some kind ?

In my first website below I have a drawing of a trailer that I would tow behind my Van
that would contain a lot of support stuff where I could tow it along and use it when in camp
and un-hitch and leave it at camp and take the Van and Day Trip or Tour some before returning
to it later. it's a kind of strategy to have a larger RV that's modular where part of it can break away for
short trips and errands.

I don't know if you find that appealing or not but I'd offer it to you as a thought.

Hi eDJ, we are really trying to take minimalism to a new level, that is exactly why we are letting go of anything that we don't really need. We have not exactly started to live in our Prius yet though. That is going to be happening in about 3 weeks from now. Right now we are getting our necessities sorted out because we just do not want to be cramped. Right now, we are in the final stages of selling and giving away stuff that we can't bring with us. We plan on living out of our tent and screen house when we can and only use the Prius when the weather doesn't allow us to be outside. We are so looking forward to our new nomadic life, we plan on showing other people that living simply can be done.
