Hi, I am a retired Lightrail Controller, I played with Trains in Denver, Colorado.... lol. I downsized when I retired, no house or apartment, nothing in storage, everything I own I carry with me. Then I headed south from Denver Jan. 2nd, 2012. I am Fulltime Boondocking and Camping mostly southwest for now, till I figure out what I am doing .... I do this minus an RV. I have a Haulmark 6 X 12 Cargo Trailer and a Kodiak 9 X 12 Cabin Tent. I am single, a little wacko, and having a blast. I played around when younger, put in a quick 20 at Lightrail, now it is time to Play again.!!

I am eager to learn new ways of doing what we do, and all the tips and advise here looks like a great info forum.
Thank you.!!

Hello and Welcome!!

It sounds like you are well prepared for your adventures. What are you pulling the trailer with? Van, Truck, Billy Goats?

A lot of people fall into this life due to financial hardship and then discover how exciting and stress releiving it can be. I prefer to focus on the adventure of it as it seems you do. The money saving is just an added bonus for me.

Good luck and keep us updated on your travels.

-Noah

Hi Noah,
Thanks for the welcome. I have a 1996 Chevy Silverado 1500 4X4 to pull my home with.
You can see a pic in the Album on my profile.

Very Cool!

I had an 89 chevy several years ago... the truck that wouldn't die.

I have a truck and trailer setup as well. I like the versatility and cargo space the truck offers, along with the ability to park your home for a while if needed.

City driving can be a bit frustrating though... We can't have it all, can we?

Welcome! I took a peek at your blog. Looks like you're having a great time! Very cool that your dad got to travel along for the first year.
