Hello folks,

Waving hi to everyone as I just found these excellent resources that Bob put up last night doing a search for van living information.

I realized recently that getting up to go work on someone else's dream to pay out most of my money to things that keep going up is just plain insane.

So consider this my start at looking for options one step at a time.

The option Bob has chosen, working during the summer in beautiful places and spending the winters on BLM land is a very good looking one.

Hopefully over the course of this year I can get to know some of you and also learn from you as well.

Curtis

Hi Curtis, I'm in the shopping phase, looking for a ford e-150/ 250, hopefully a hightop, with a 300 ci. 6 cylinder. I will take most anything if its a screaming good deal, and in decent shape, and long wheelbase. Duane

Sounds like a good idea.

After reading Bob's blog, much more entertaining than watching tv, because I want to be able to explore the remote areas have started looking on Craigslist for either a:

Astro Mini Van or

a Standard Cargo Van

I found a site called list-alert.com where I can make an account and search for what I want and save it and they will send me an email notice when it comes up for sale.

Welcome to the group Curtis! You'll find quite a bit of useful information in group. If you have any questions about "van dwelling" this is the place to do it.
