Hi guys, I'm Sean. I'm currently in the process of renovating my new van and thought I'd join the community here with other like-minded individuals. I'm really excited for my build and I'm hoping to put my own personal touch to it. I think it will be a unique build.


I'm looking forward to sharing thoughts and ideas on the van life with you guys and I can't wait to see what's out there!

Follow eDJ's advice above, watch about 50 YouTube videos on "van camping", read the CRVL Blog posts and watch Bob's videos, then you'll have 1000 percent more information than you can use but you will likely.have a much better idea of what works and what may not...

I have a 96 Chevy Astro high-top van. Not ideal, but it's something to get me started and I'm only 5'5 and 117 lbs so space shouldn't be an issue lol.
Also I'm not much of a forum goer, how can I reply to several people in one reply? Didn't see anything in tips & tricks. Thanks.

Anyway , if you want to say something to different people in the same post, (Low data users will be happy especially if you don't quote long posts) Just put down their name and write what you want to say beneath it.....repeat as necessary.
If you want to PM (off the forum private like)
click on the PM button at the bottom and enter their forum name at the top...or click on their forum name at the top of their post and the PM button will be at the bottom of their profile...

   Hello and Welcome
In each post in the lower right hand corner there is  "Quote" box, just click on it.  Then you can continue reading other posts and click on the "quote" box for each that you want to respond to. A little red dot will show by "Quote" if you change your mind just click on "Quote" again.....it's like a on/off switch.

  Go to the bottom of whatever page you stop on and click on "New Reply".  That should bring up a page with all the posts you clicked "quote on.

Then you can delete whatever you want to in that post by putting the cursor into the post & clicking on it. This can reduce it down to what you want to respond to.  You can type in that  posts box or beneath it.
