Greatly enjoyed your Solar panel info, I'm an electrical idiot, but willing to install a panel and Aux battery to run fan and charge phones and laptop.

Sounds like a plan...and a good one at that.  Loads of people get into this life style by just week ending and day tripping.  Plan for those 3 and 4 day holiday weekends to take some extended journeys too.  (just get someone
to watch your place while you're out on the road so you won't come home to any surprises)
