Love to see that there are so many people like minded here! I knew since the 70's that I wanted to live in a van! Thats back when they were getting all pimped out with waterbeds and self made conversions. I am now looking for a van for myself so I can also get into the lifestyle. I am so lucky to be single and the kid being 18 and taking care of himself now that I can do this.
My hopes is that eventually I can grab an acre of land provide for myself.
But thats a bit about me. Glad to join, thanks for having this forum I hope that the community will take me in and help as I migh tbe able to help.

Welcome to the group and good luck on your search for the "perfect" van.

Welcome! Lot's of good information on here. Enjoy the read!

Mike, we have that in common as soon as my son turned 18 and was on his own I took early retirement and left. I know several people who struggle with guilt because they are out doing what they want and "abandoned" their kids. I even know some people that their kids try to guilt them.

I always tell them that they gave their lives to their kids for 18 years or more and now it's their turn to enjoy life!! It's still not easy though we love the little buggers so much!!!!

Congradulations! I am waiting until my youngest graduates college. A few more months.

No deep shag or waterbeds for me. Solar and electricity is what I am planning on. 70's music, modern technology.
