I'm another one who is still in the research phase. I've had some financial difficulties and on a whim happened to Google "Can I live in my car" which lead to a you-tube video featuring Bob interviewing a woman my age living in her car. I realized I had many of the same items as the woman had for car living already and the ability to make the changes she made. Now living in my car seems like an informed decision instead of a catastrophic disaster. After watching many, many more videos and reading articles, I think this may be a feasible option.  At the moment I'm taking steps to resolve my issues, so when I'm ready to enter the nomad life I can start without debt or doubts.

Nysha, welcome to the forum! I'm also contemplating living in my car for a few months as I'm ready to leave now (mentally at least) but my van won't be ready until probably, the end of March! So car living, maybe . . . . I've done it before but I was much younger then.

Anyhow, all the best to you - I hope this works well for you. What kind of car is it?

I own a 1999 Toyota Corolla. I'm going to wait and try to reorganize my expenses and things first, though. If I need to move into my car, I can, but I'd like to wait until I can trade it for a mini-van if at all possible. It's illegal in my town to live in your vehicle, so a van would make stealth camping a lot easier.
