Hello new van owner,wannabe traveller from SW Virginia

Hello I'm 37 year old married father of two. For sometime my wife and I havebeen talking about selling our house and hitting the road full time unfortunately fiancial and family situation has made that impossible.

So with tax money this year we decided to do the next best thing. We bought a conversion van and are turning it into a camper for 4 humans and a dog. A bit of daunting task but my wife and I are both tinkers and love a project.

We dubbed named our van Serenity after the firefly starship if you know the show [emoji1] The purpose behind our van is similar to the ship. Shes a work in progress as we have money and time. Despite not be fully complete we are already adventuring. During all the recent cold and snow we bugged out of VA and headed to FL got lots more planned for the future.

I still think about full timing it and all projects on Serenity still have long term sustainability in mind when we work on her.
