If your van isn't the color you want, ever think of changing the color by rolling on some Rustoleum paint? There's videos on Youtube about it.

many times. im considering painting the roof white. not sure if i will use auto paint and have a body guy do it. rustoleum as you mentioned, or look for bus-kote. theres even a ceramic additive that can be added to any paint and it will create a thermal barrier. im leaning toward rustoleum with the additive just for the roof.

interesting stuff. http://www.hytechsales.com/insulating_paint_additives.html

ive grown to love the van in red though. if i were to paint the whole thing, im not sure i could bring myself to do it myself with rustoleum. its too nice as it is. id have a body guy do it for sure. im fortunate to have a buddy in the biz.

i would really love to have a metallic navy blue van as that is my favorite color but not practical for this lifestyle so i searched for white. i think the reason why i could not find a decent one in white in the time frame i had is that they so often are work vans or fleet vans and had high mileage or were beat up. i found one that was babied.

silver would also be nice.
