I'm getting ready to start a new life in my little Mallard Sprinter.  I feel excited and scared at the same time.  I'm joining this forum to get as much advice as I can about living in my RV and also share things I've learned along the way.  I am leaving from Rhode Island on Sept 15th and heading for Oregon.  Thanks for creating this forum Bob!

hey welcome sprinting duck is not so small, you should be very comfy,  baby steps will turn into grand voyages,

Good luck to you. I hope to be in a similar situation a year from now. I'm having the fears already. I've been facing them by pretending that I don't have this house to be in or go to at different times during my normal routine. I should keep a journal on those thoughts. I think I would be amazed at how much time I spend in this house doing chores I don't want to do anyway or doing escapism, watching TV or playing on the computer.

Welcome to the virtual insane asylum!

A lot of good people here with good information and experiences. Glad you found them...

White wolf

Go out somewhere a few miles down the road and spend a night in your vehicle. Next time go a bit further - and so on and so forth. Cut the embylical cord gradually.
