Hi everyone, I was forced to rethink how I was going to live after I was laid off from my high paying job in California. I decided to buy a brand new cargo trailer and convert the inside into a nice living space. I was motivated by the story of Randy Vining that I saw on the cheaprvliving website a few years ago.

You may have seen my few posts in the yahoo vandwellers group under the name ozone333. I have a blog about my build at http://stealthcargotrailer.blogspot.com

I have been living in this cargo trailer on a friends property for just over two years now and all I can say is I Love It!!! The freedom I am experiencing while living this way is fantastic. I went from two 10x20 and one 10x10 storage units to one 10x15 that I am now working on pairing down to an even smaller unit.

Life is good with less stuff! Thank you Bob for putting that story about Randy Vining and his modified cargo trailer on your site! It was my direct motivation to create my own

nice job on everything you've made so far!!!

I like the rope lites & the audio system & the monster computer setup you have

Can you post a link to any of your trance music?

Hello OL Audio and welcome

Hiya & Welcome Ol! Sweet job on the trailer so far! Can't wait to see the finished product.

I have saved it to my Favorites for future reference.

Bob

Welcome back OL...god to have you again...the trailer is coming along famously! Keep us posted.
Bri

Nice setup! Pretty sweet.

You should use the smaller antenna on the alpha, they actually get better signal than that big one they have for it. Im not sure on the technicalities of why but its true.

Hi! Great blog from what I've seen so far! I'm going to read a bunch of the posts this evening. Cool stuff!

I hope you have better luck with the Iota charger than I have had. I've had three of them croak in the last year and the third just gave up the ghost... It's going to have to go back for warranty replacement again... :-/

Which Iota model are you using? I have the DLS-55/IQ4.

V.T.

Thank you all for your kind greetings! To answer some questions

XJ700...

If you want to listen to my high energy trance remixes of my own music and my voice in the voice overs that accompany the music there, then I think you can still listen to low quality versions on my old MySpace account at http://www.myspace.com/ozone333 otherwise feel free to check out http://www.cdbaby.com/all/ozone333 or My official website at http://www.ozone333.com

VanLifeCrisis...

I don't know what gave you the impression that I am using the larger antenna from Alfa, (must be something I wrote?) If you look at the picture of the two Alfa WiFi antennas mounted on the side of the cargo trailer you'll see that I am using the 9dB antennas on each one. That big antenna is a joke and was discarded long ago.

VanTrekker...

Van, I am using the same model as you are using, the IOTA DLS-55 / IQ4. I'm sorry to hear of the troubles you've been having with your units. My unit has been working flawlessly for just over two years now.

If you have any questions regarding my build so far or wish to offer your input or advice, I'm always open to learning new things.

I'm currently in the beginning stages of designing the upcoming solar system that I plan on using to keep my refrigerator, sound system and Workstation PC operable in any situation.

Ahh..it looked like the larger ones, must just be my warped perspective
