<div>Yes, Bob, we have a walk-through. I got it all done up in tongue and groove pine.</div>

Hello Guy and Deb,<div>Welcome, I am very new to all this as well, I do lots of boondocking or dry camping as some call it also. I am at a park right now and my space is paid for by Amazon.com working seasonal work. I truly feel for you and your wife for your frustration of dishonesty, I am on the road alone I have been taken so many times my father used to handle the mechanical stuff but now he is gone and I have had to educate myself to know what to look for. This is very difficult when your on a limit budged. &nbsp;Welcome and I hope we can be of any assistance were here. I love this forum.&nbsp;</div>

Wow I know what you guys are going through. Ive also have been taken for . It would be great if maybe here on the forum we can have a directory of some sort where you can go and not to. State by state from word of mouth so to speak. I know from reading some posts and blogs people DO&nbsp;recommend reliable mechanics. Just a thought.&nbsp;

Thank you for your concern, pollyprincess and She. <i>She</i>, I love that. Reminds me of H. Rider Haggard's SHE. (Ayesha), a book I loved when I was a kid.

<div><br></div><div>Oh .....actually I couldn't think of a name so I figured what the heck, everybody will know I'm a She.</div>

Very cool set up! &nbsp;Looks like you put a lot of work into it. &nbsp;Welcome to the forum!&nbsp;

<div><br></div><div>Thanks, Roniit. Checked your site. Very cool! You will handle the tour just fine in a van. An artist will always do well in this lifestyle.</div>

<p>so what's the update on the tranny? Did you put some more duck tape on it? </p>
<div>&nbsp; Duct tape doesn't seem to work on my transmission...I am waiting it out in an RV park (a bleak, featureless, tin can alley).</div>

Welcome, and glad to have you. Looking at box vans myself now, standing room is all important to me.&nbsp;

I thought I recognized that "engineers" badge, my son is a (new) 2LT currently lostinthewoods in MO finishing up his leadership course, which is all in direct connection with my hitting the road. He will be home for Christmas and we will discuss his plans for either buying house or renting a place of his own, when he decides what he is doing I KNOW what I am going to do. See you on the road...<img src="/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle"><img src="/images/boards/smilies/smile.gif" border="0" align="absmiddle">
<div><br></div><div>&nbsp; Hey, Big. I was in "lost in the woods" myself many years ago. I guess your son is a minesweeper too? That's &nbsp;the combat engineers. 2nd looey's gotta "make their bones" when they get to the unit. It's a tough road. I'm sure he will do well.</div><div>&nbsp; Are you lookin' for that box truck? Be careful if you buy ramps to get the bike up there (I know from experience). A lotta cheap stuff out there that won't last.</div>

<div><br></div><div>&nbsp; Journeyman, thanks. Box trucks are built so much better than an RV. Standing room and lots of space to hang cabinets.</div>

What is it about this group? Left the USMC as an O-3 (combat engineer) in 1983. Loved to make big loud noises! I prefer my Class B RV to a truck, however. *grin*.

A perfect group for the "new world order," wouldn't you say?

We've got Blkjack too, I hope he doesn't mind me mentioning him. Seabees, Vietnam. When top heavy societies fail, perhaps we can remap the "corps" way.
