Headed south along east coast?

Moved to fl last year from ny. Left my cay behind with a friend in what i thought was a safe place. Turns out they dont want her anymore and are threatening to throw her out in the cold.
I am unable to go there and get her. Pet transport companies charge too much. I even tried rescues, some have a network of volunteers who transpory animals. No luck.
I need a kind hearted soul who will be traveling asap down the east coast from upstate ny near albany to the st augustine area.
If you could bring her with you and reunite us it would make my son happy. We have had her since she was 8 weeks old (she is 8 now).

I'd suggest looking and posting in the "ride share" section of Craig's list. Perhaps you will find some kind hearted animal lover who is traveling and looking for someone (or a fourlegged someone) to share gas expenses with?

What a terrible thing for anyone to do, and so sorry you are unable to rescue her yourself.

Hope you find a kind soul with a soft spot for kitties, to bring her to you.

UPDATE:
Spoke to a friend..an amimal lover. She has agreed to loan me a little money to pay someone to get her down here. I posted An ad on uship.com and looks like i got someone to do this. Maybe even today!
