I have an older friend. Who lives in Riudoso NM..
She has been caring for her brother who is not well physically or emotionally.
The only means of transportation exterra ..broke down..
Needs fixing .. but are attempting to get the old truck her brother used to drive on the road...
IS THERE ANY MECHANICAL KINDA ANGEL WHO MIGHT BOONDOCK
IN THE AREA WHO MIGHT BE ABLE TO TWEEK AND FIX ??
She's pretty much at the bottom of the barrel..
Has a go fund me etc.. however it's not fixing the vehicle issue ..

Also might be helpful if we knew what brand and type of vehicle.  Also is it a mechanical problem like motor or transmission or wiring, body work, suspension?

I believe Shift Chick identified the vehicle as an Xterra in the original post. Nissan manufactures the Xterra.

Not quite, I take it as the Xterra broke down, but they are trying to get "The old truck her brother used to drive" working.
