This is kind of a waste of usable space. I mean, why would someone put a gaudy table in there. What use is it for? You could just sleep next to your stuff, stashed on the other side-

The key is to be away from your compact-sleeping rig as much as possible, sleep, and drive.

Shorter people will have an advantage for hatchback & coupe & sedan dwelling.

-bObBy

I would defiantly want to bolt that bed frame down through the floor, Or move it to the passenger side. Could you imagine what would happen in a head on collision. Just saying.

Well, I am sad to say that I traded the HHR off for a new Subaru Forester this morning.
While there were a few advantages to having the HHR, I firmly believe that the Forester will be better in the long run. These are well respected vehicles for their high-mileage potential & durability.

Conversely, the HHR I just bought in 2012, already had to begin signs of abnormal wear. There was a definite clunk in the steering parts at slow speeds (control arm bushings).
The steering wandered too much, and the motor just felt loose for only having 19,500 miles. Another poster on another topic mentioned that the HHR shares the same suspension & steering components. Well, that person was correct; the parts are the same. And anybody knows anything about the Cobalt will know that the suspension was poorly designed!

Plus, I really really got the Forester for the higher ground clearance (8.9-inches) & 4-wheel-drive!!!

You will not be dissapionted with the subaru just make sure to keep it washed and undercoated the only real problems with subaru's is the body's rust off them way before you have and machinical problems congrat's and enjoy your new subaru

jeremy
