Hello everyone!  

Greetings from S.Fla and hoping to get out on the road this summer. I've just completed renovations on a 20 y.o RV I purchased last Fall, but sold it last week after mom got injured needing my attention and my rethinking the desire for traveling more "nimbly" (is that even a word?)  Sad to see it go, but...

Massive downsizing. Have had 3 yard sales, and donated a bunch to local abuse shelter, neighbors, and posts on craigslist.  Still lots to go through. The boxes of paperwork and photos are the challenge for me.  

I'm hoping to find an appropriate minivan/van and get on the road very soon. 
I'm devouring all the information and taking lots of notes.  Thanks for such a great site!

I had a 26 ft Jayco RV. I downsized to a van for more mobility. I am still adjusting. I, too had to change plans due to my mother having a heart attack, but was finally able to get back on the road. I am sorry to hear of your mother's health issues, as they can sure change things for all involved. Good luck and maybe we can connect around a fire on your travels when you get back on your journey.

Welcome aboard! And, yeah, the photos are the hard part for me, too. You'll get through it, though, and looking back on it, it will feel a lot warmer and fuzzier than it maybe does right now. Hang in there!
