I just heard about the group and jumped right in.  Mo and I do not live on the road but we do spend a lot of time boondocking and look forward to more.  We have mostly used a 4X4 with a very small trailer for our travels but have moved to a tent trailer with the intent of staying in one spot for longer periods.  We are self-contained and look for spots that are comfy and scenic, yet not in a campground.
We look forward to going to the RTR this year and learning from so many.

Welcome Mikey!

I'm at least somewhat familiar with the Kingman area. My brother lives in Golden Valley. I try to get out there for a visit every couple of years.

I lived in Dolan Springs for a number of years. Still return once or twice a year. We did a lot of our shopping in Kingman. El Palicio on Andy Devine has the best Mexican food anywhere

I'm in Golden Valley for the winter, working in Kingman until June. Hit me up if you have any questions...RV full-timer here

Welcome to the CRVL forums Mikey! The RTR is a great place to learn stuff and meet other people who enjoy the same type of camping. Have fun!

To help you learn the ins and outs of these forums, this "Tips & Tricks" post lists some helpful information to get you started. We look forward to hearing more from you.

hi and welcome. I split time between So Cal and Mojave Valley. see you at RTR. highdesertranger

Quite a few folks aware of or comfortable with my area.  Living in Kingman can give a fellow a sense that you are truly in a desert, and more so than simply the geography.  I look forward to meeting people in the area even if they are only casually passing through.
