A 1984 Coachmen Greenbriar. Picked it up for $2,600. It's quite nice for its age. Interior is nearly perfect. It has a few minor issues but nothing I can't handle. Fuel gauge only works from half to full, struts feel a bit soft and clunky, etc. New tires, cruise, dash AC, 104k miles.

It doesn't have a shower but it has everything else. Little lacking in cabinet space but I can solve that with cheap walmart plastic drawers. Oh and the way the roof is made might make it a little more tricky to fit enough solar on it. But I'm sure it's still doable. I'll have to build a bigger battery box as it only fits one right now. I'm thinking 3 regular old flooded since it already has venting for the existing box.

Has what looks to be a 20 gallon freshwater tank. Not sure the size of the black tank. No grey water tank, the sink simply drains out of the side of the van by design. Also has a reece hitch on front and rear.

I'm pretty stoked about it though. I'll post more pics when I get a chance.

I don't know. I bet it has at least a front one. It didn't sway too bad left and right, just more of an up and down softness. Compared to my Ford anyway. But I didn't really put it through it's paces too much either. I'll have to do more inspecting this week. Since I plan to put a hitch box on it I was thinking of going with the load leveling type struts. Any experience with them?

I will say this it has a 305ci and it actually feels alot more powerful than my Ford 302ci. It drives overall better as well. I like the way the whole drivers compartment is designed. Rides alot higher and more over the wheel.
One thing that might be tripping me up is I have never driven a hightop, only low tops. That might be why it feels softer too. It's really nothing bad, just a casual noticing on my part.

Good for you Ped, hope it is all you want it to be. I kinda looked at an '86 the other day. Kinda looked as in , peeked inside, kicked a tire, checked my wallet and walked away...

It's been in southwest Ohio and S.E. Indiana it's whole life. It came with seemingly every service reciept imaginable including oil changes. They all say they're from the area going back to when it was new.

Here's a few more pics

Looks good, ped. You should be all set to hit the road!

Yeah, just need money

Looks clean and well maintained. Your solar should fit on top nicely even with that dip on the back. Just install a cargo carrier like another member did on this site (Charlene, I think).
