I love ghost towns. mainly because a lot of them are abandon mining camps. I prefer the more out of the way ones. I know of a few settlements that have no record my little secret for now. anyhow I have a whole section of links to ghost town stuff, try this one,

"HDR, any truth to the story of gold dust sifting through the floorboards of the old saloons and being recovered in modern times?"

yes. also coins, buttons, tokens, and anything else that might have gotten dropped. also many old buildings had no wood floor just dirt. the wood floors were only in the more establish camps.

Stranger, great link!  And so timely of you, with Halloween lurking.  I know of a ghost town even you may not
yet know of.  So confident in this supposition am I that, did I have even a slight hope of collecting, I would go
so far as to bet you $10 bucks.   It will just have to wait for some future time.

Ghost of a chance...$10 bucks
