Just wondering if anyone uses an inline filter on their LP genny.

I did when I was using the BBQ exchange tanks. Once I purchased my own and have it refilled I'm less concerned with crud (rust) in the tank.
However, even though I don't go through that much propane I do replace the rubber hose every year. I could be wrong but feel a degrading hose probably causes most of the issues and then there is the safety thing . My eventual fix will be a copper line.

OK,thanks. I've bought a new cylinder so maybe it won't be a problem. The gen. will only see light use anyway.

I do have a new filter that I bought for a Buddy and never used. Guess it wouldn't hurt to use it on the generator.

On Bob's blog I did read how a hose he had used for 10 years developed a leak and there was a minor fire.

Don't need that..
