The Last Man On Earth
"The year is 2020, and after a deadly virus has swept the planet, only one man is left on earth: Phil Miller (Will Forte). He used to be just an...more average guy who loved his family and hated his job. Now, in his RV, Phil searches the country for other survivors. He has traveled to every city, every town and every outpost in the United States, Mexico and Canada, and has found no one. As he returns to his hometown of Tucson, Phil comes to the painful realization that he is almost certainly the last living being on the face of the earth. All he wants is for someone – anyone – to find him in Tucson – preferably a woman."

uh...I thought this was going to be more driving around in an RV. It's not. I didn't make it 10 minutes in before I shut it down.

well...I made it up to the first commercial break. (I hafta go to work now)

but, it's only 10 minutes into the show, so I'm thinking he'll get his act together and this'll go somewhere.

It has to!! There's another hour and 1/2 to fill!!

I watched the whole thing and liked it. It's pretty funny, especially once Kristen Schaal's character shows up.

So he gets a girlfriend eventually. That's a good plot point to anticipate.

I wouldn't say girlfriend. They're the last two people on earth which doesn't guarantee anything.
I'm not entirely convinced she not a figment of his imagination, but it's only been 2 episodes so it's hard to say for sure.

Basically, not only is she the last womano n earth, she's also the most annoying woman on earth. Now that's a conundrum!
Bob

She's pretty annoying.  I watched since it was free.  One flaw, if such a situation were to happen, instead of driving around from city to city a better way would be to work the ham radio bands.  Ham radio will be the basis of our communication system after the appocalypse.  And if you're the last guy on earth and you have a big class a rv and plenty of fuel, why not go to san diego or hollywood?

Well, he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Plus it's a comedy, so it wouldn't be much fun for us if he did everything right.

You guys might be interested in a reality show called The Colony. The show tries to simulate a global viral outbreak. They take a group of people, isolate them without sleep for 48 hours to disorient and exhaust them, then dump them in an empty FEMA camp in the ruins of a town. The show took place in what was left of one of the towns destroyed by Katrina, so it was pretty realistic. It has your typical reality show BS, but they also did a lot of cool survival stuff that I think you guys would appreciate. I thought the first season was pretty interesting, but the second season seemed a bit too "Reality TV". I think it was on the Discovery channel.

Where's the zombies.....? No zombies? Don't think I'd like it. :)
About the only thing I watch via Hulu are The Simpsons and Family Guy. Occasionally some anime if I can luck up and find one dubbed into English. I do not do subtitles!
