foot operated water pump

Hi there!
I'm trying to figure out a way to get running water without using an electrical water pump.  It seems like most of the hand pumps out there aren't built to last, so I'm looking at marine foot pumps.

It's bit expensive (around $85) and I'm wondering if anyone has used these or something similar and has feedback.  Says it can pump 4 gallons per minute, is that overkill? Wondering if it's worth it, or if I should just get a little $20 12v water pump and accumulator and do it that way.

I had a Whale foot pump on my boat, they are a good solution and very durable. I did not care for hand pumps, too hard to wash something with both hands.

Putting one of these on the floor is a cheap option but I don't know how long it would last:

Here is what was used on our river trip. This was the basic setup with a 5 gallon take but we used the bulb-like foot pump instead of the whale pump shown.

I just installed this guy http://amzn.to/2B0dF2k into Big Blue. Works great and easy to setup/use, but I can not yet vouch for how long it will last.

Or..  put the water jug up high and let Mr Gravity make 'er flow.
Or..  use a sealed jug with a fitting attached to a foot operated air pump similar to blowing up rafts and such.
Then.. after brushing your teeth, blow up the raft and go fishing.
