Hello all,
I'm currently an apartment dweller but am in the early stages of planning for the good life. I've been able to pick all of your virtual brains all thanks to this wonderful site (thanks everyone!), but one thing seems to have eluded me. The last time I was in a vehicle taking in such great sights, it was dark, stars were shining, city lights were dancing, my palms were sweaty, and she smelled of raspberries. It was like that scene from Titanic but much less romantic and a lot more clumsy...

Which brings me to ask: what do you do to keep from fogging up the windows at night while you're sleeping? I would imagine it's a dead giveaway for cops/robbers to know there's someone in there. Seeing as I'm a mouth breather/drooler/snorer, this is kind of a big deal for me. At the same time, I feel like I'm missing something stupid - like it's a no-brainer fix. Which methods do you fine folks use to keep the fog away? Do you keep a window open? Is there a window treatment that deters moisture? A system of ropes and pulleys tethered to some Sham-WOW's?

From what I've gathered here, stealth is king and I'm just trying to get my ducks lined up in a row before I newbie-ishly attract any kind of attention, let alone the wrong kind. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tony

stude53 - blkjak's build thread is nothing short of amazing. Thanks for sending me in the right direction. I have a so much to learn!

Steve - I knew it had to be something simple! I'll tell you what though, I never would have thought of it on my own haha. Thanks!
Damp Rid another product that absorbs moisture is made of calcium chloride that you can buy in bulk from pool supply stores.

Thanks for the tip, VJG! I hadn't heard of the Rain-X Anti-Fog stuff before. I'll stop by the local auto parts store as soon as I can scrounge up a little cheddar. I'll try it out on my bathroom mirror and take a hot shower. Because that's almost the same thing, right!? We shall see. I'll keep you posted on my test results.

I place a little fan between the front seats facing toward the windshield. I position it so someone looking in the windows can't tell if it is on or not. Works great. No fog.

gp, that sounds like even something I could do haha! Thanks for the simple solution.

Thought i was going to some new Bluegrass music. Nope. But some good idea's. I now use a c-pap and am wondering what, if anything, will fog up with it. Good ideas all
