...and bought a van! It's a 2000 Dodge 3500 cargo van (it was one of Verizon's fleet vehicles before I got it). I checked the carfax on it and everything came back clean. The engine looks good and runs strong. It's an extended wheel base with lots of room inside even with the onboard generator. Verizon turned the box that houses the generator into what looks like a small work table with shelves above it...it's making a great little kitchen area. The commercial ladder racks are still on the vehicle as well as the cabinets and shelving inside. I'm in the process of rearranging the cabinets to maximize room and then clean / paint them. It also has the anti-theft screens on the windows which may or may not stay...I'm not sure yet. It has one electrical outlet near the front bumper and three near the passenger side tail light. Two small vents in the roof as well. So far I've been very pleased with my new home. I loved my pickup truck / camper shell combo but I just didn't have the room I needed, especially since I'm planning on keeping my dog (who seems to really love the van ). I don't have any pics yet but from the outside it just looks like any other work van.
Just thought I'd share as this is the first time I've done anything like this and I'm pretty excited...thanks for reading!
