Someone mentioned using a fidget spinner to help quit smoking.  I'd never heard of them but every kid who walked into the camp store I work at seemed to have one.  The manager ordered a few cases and they're selling like hotcakes.  Not to be left out, I started playing with one and gotta admit, it is kind of addictive and very relaxing.  Has anyone else here jumped on the bandwagon?

With my hands I dont want to strain them.  They only work so long in a day.  I just play with my stinkin badge.

My daughter has a cube with all kinds of switches built into the different sides.  That looks like fun.

I play dominos with my buddy Paul...the old school kind with the brass tack in the middle between the number so the faces don't wear out when you shuffle 'em. I put 'em tack down on the table and spin them. Wheeeee! They spin like mad.

I'm male so I already have something to play with and you're right, it is kinda addictive and very relaxing.

Seems like there's always some new inexplicable fad.  Pet rocks.  Mood rings.

I remember back in the early sixties when yoyos made a sudden comeback.  For a while there every kid - including me - had one of the damn things.

I had not heard of or saw one until last night. Grandson had one.

Anything that keeps kids (and adults) off their smartphones can't be all bad. That Pokemon phone game a few years ago was the worst fad ever IMHO.

These things have been all over lately. I don't understand it. Just another fad to pass, I suppose.
