Dang,looks like our fall colors are going to be a bust this year.Leaves are just turning brown and falling off.Oh well.In a few more weeks,we'll have the annual "War on Christmas" meme for entertainment.Hope all of you are registered and will be voting this year.

Fall colors in splendor

Since I am no where near a lovely hardwood forest, make do with what I can find to get my fall fix.

So the tamarack has started to change colors here. They are deciduous coniferous trees. This picture doesn't really do the colors justice.

Photo Safari today, seek and ye shall find.
Today's adventure included wet feet in the river and watching a glove, lost to the current, float away.
And a boot falling down a hill. All part of the adventure of a lifetime.

This property had two maples in full fall magnificence radiating red color and drama in a sea of green. Magical. One was turning colors at the top with the bottom still in green mode. A full fall fade combination, all in one tree at one time. Resplendent fall colors.
