This site and the couple who run it will make a lot of you trying to plan your solar needs for a rig and having trouble navigating the barrage of information bordering on overkill very happy. He has interactive visual wiring diagrams for completely engineered solar systems for vans and RV's from 300w/200ah to 1200w/600ah. You click on a component or component group, and it gives you a complete shopping list for everything, where to get it, and how much. It's the best site I've ever seen for the novice who doesn't have the time or resources to study electrical theory in order to set up a workable solar system so they can got on the road. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. First will be the diagram section of their main site; check it out while your there. Next will be his YouTube Channel, and it's fantastic, and unlike so many with Old Shade-Tree Joe and his hound dog, this man is a true professional, a licensed engineer who can custom engineer a system for you if the need be for a reasonable fee.

This is awesome; you're going to love it!

Everyone should consider installing a DC-DC Charger. On a hot summer day I’m looking for some shade.

Great post, I haven't seen that one yet, and I follow DIY solar and am a member of his forum. Have you joined the DIY forum yet? I know two people on two threads here looking for something like this, so I'll pass it on.
