What's the earliest date some of you might be heading down to Ehrenberg? Quit my job at Amazon recently and am looking to play catch up with the rest of you already camped for the fall. Thinking about Flagstaff area....any ideas on locations or other areas? (been living in van for 2 years but no real boondocking, basically a newbie). Not to intrude on privacy, just need some good company and tips on pitfalls to avoid. I'm an older gentleman with fully stocked cargo van (power and such).

The National Forest around Flagstaff is where the better temps are right now. If you get near I can help you find good boondocking spots in that area

slow2day, thanks for the link. I've been thinking about getting there in mid November and that link just confirmed it for me. Looks like the end of the 80 degree days happens in that time frame.
